STOP THE MADNESS...

I'm sure a lot of you are wondering what the heck is ATTiCJunky all about?  especially to new visitors who probably think this is a Food Blog lol.  Btw my grammar sucks so try not to get frustrated haha.. okay back to what I was saying.   AJ (AtticJunky) is still #1 a t-shirt clothing co. and a lot of you have noticed the designs have not changed since I launched this site which is totally my fault.  Till this day AJ has a small staff of ONE lol which is just myself with the occasional help from my good friends Leonard and Anne.  It's tough when you start out in a entirely new and different industry with no clue what your doing and top of that having to deal with the Accounting, billing, designing, packaging and everything else that goes into running a clothing co.  As you know the economy is down the shitters with no real light at the end of the tunnel which leaves us all in an unusual state of mind and place.  Everyone has been affected one way or another by the economy's downturn and while other brands are barely clinging on to make it out of this chaos, I made a choice early on to keep working full time at my office job to keep AJ afloat and keep investing to make this brand grow.  Yes the designs haven't change nor do I keep up with the industries standard of coming out with a spring and fall/winter line but that time will come one day for AJ.  I currently have tons of ideas and designs to bring out but also know I have to hold back and not be wasteful with the $$ right now in order for AJ to survive.

Your probably thinking... why is this guy EMO'ing out lol but actually what made me think about all this, at this moment was reading a post on Franco Shade's blog/website.  After 7 years they have decided to call it quits and move on which is hard to read since I followed them for few years now and grown to like their brand even though I don't know any of the guys personally.  These are one of those reality check on how bad the economy currently is and to stay focus.  As well as each move you take can be your last, sort of like chess..ahhhh.  I'll admit when I started AJ I had no clue what I was doing and made alot of costly mistakes and bad choices but I'm glad I did so I can learn and grow from it.  I follow about two handful of blogs sites out there in the fashion biz ranging from TheHundreds, Foreign Family, Triumvir and many more.  But I can tell a lot of the brands out there right now are in the business of Surviving and getting out of this natural disaster that we as humans pretty much created.

So with that being said... I'm not sure when new designs will actually go into production to be honest since I get asked that question a lot.  I'm a one man show right now but also know not to rush into things and learned the hard way.  So the game plan is to slowly build up this crazy AtticJunky idea and build relationships with AtticJunkies (customers) in the long run.  I will be doing alot of promo's soon as far as discounts and even freebies in the near future so add me on twitter or facebook, I stopped going onto Myspace since it's filled with so much junk these days.  Anywhoo if you read this far down you must be really bored or frustrated by my grammar, Suckaaahhh lol jk.   But last wanted to say I appreciate everyones support and also emails from random people in China, Australia and other parts of the globe (no joke).
